I YouTube because after consistently being used and abused in every job I have ever had, I have decided I am worthy and I can create a living for myself and my family doing something I am good at.
I am good at video games, and commentating and reading aloud.
I have my wonderful wife to thank to help encourage me in this choice, she helped me see that I have potential and that I needn't break my back just to support our family.
I am really loving Let's Play gaming, it's a rewarding challenge. I also am enjoying the video editing, and creation of thumbnails that really stand out. It feels like my generation was never really encouraged to find their passions and follow them in order to create a career that truly satisfies. I really feel like I have found that thing for me. I am an expert level video game player, I don't want to sound braggy but it is a fact. Before I was a father, and I could really dedicate time to playing video games, (seems silly to have dedicated time to, however) I consistently came out near the top of leaderboards. In order to keep scores up there, you do have to play all the time, no matter what the game. Now that have much less time, I find that statistically I am still above average, but my play times keep me out of the top ranks in leaderboards. That is not a problem for me, as I am now working to create game videos for you to enjoy with games that have engaging story lines and plots. Not ranks and leaderboards, not right now anyway.
I hope that my love of games, story, and lore comes through in my videos. I invite you to come along on my adventures with me. I can guarantee you won't miss out on anything that is written. I promise never to say 'Just pause it if you want to read this..." I will read everything new and relevant every time!
If you would like to know about me. I have a more detailed account of my journey to youtube in my introduction post.
