I YouTube because after consistently being used and abused in every job I have ever had, I have decided I am worthy and I can create a living for myself and my family doing something I am good at.
I am good at video games, and commentating and reading aloud.
I have my wonderful wife to thank to help encourage me in this choice, she helped me see that I have potential and that I needn't break my back just to support our family.

I am really loving Let's Play gaming, it's a rewarding challenge. I also am enjoying the video editing, and creation of thumbnails that really stand out. It feels like my generation was never really encouraged to find their passions and follow them in order to create a career that truly satisfies. I really feel like I have found that thing for me. I am an expert level video game player, I don't want to sound braggy but it is a fact. Before I was a father, and I could really dedicate time to playing video games, (seems silly to have dedicated time to, however) I consistently came out near the top of leaderboards. In order to keep scores up there, you do have to play all the time, no matter what the game. Now that have much less time, I find that statistically I am still above average, but my play times keep me out of the top ranks in leaderboards. That is not a problem for me, as I am now working to create game videos for you to enjoy with games that have engaging story lines and plots. Not ranks and leaderboards, not right now anyway.

I hope that my love of games, story, and lore comes through in my videos. I invite you to come along on my adventures with me. I can guarantee you won't miss out on anything that is written. I promise never to say 'Just pause it if you want to read this..." I will read everything new and relevant every time!

If you would like to know about me. I have a more detailed account of my journey to youtube in my introduction post.

You are worthy!! Everyone is!! I will defiantly check out your videos!!

Thanks Randy. Hope you enjoy what you see. Right now it is all gameplay with commentary but eventually I will create a channel for my music and for silly projects that are just fun.

Just FYI your channel link in your signature didn't take me anywhere make sure you added the right 'name' into the channel name option in your account settings. Always interested to see what everyone is creating. =)

I do YouTube because I want to entertain people. I like to make people laugh, I like to make people smile, I like to make someones day better then it previously would have been. I just hope that my videos do that.[DOUBLEPOST=1477447578,1477447351][/DOUBLEPOST]

Also...I REALLY like to edit videos...so...that's another thing...

youtube for me....
It's a place for calming and to be myself
I suffer from extreme anxiety and i know being on youtube really helps me come out of my shell and makes me a happier person.
<3

For me I love film and media and really enjoy editing and I see myself as a creative person, In my spare time I play games with my friends and YouTube is able to take all those things I enjoy and make it into one hobby. What are your thoughts? Share them below.

keep it cool guys,
- Laika :D

Im the same way as you. I really like editing, and making thumbnails/ like using photoshop. I like playing videos games, and have fun playing with my friends, so if I can edit some videos, and actually make cash off of what I like doing why not do it right? Obviously I'm not making bank, but if i can get to the point where im getting like an extra $100 a month for doing what i love to do. Why not?

At first because it was a challenge I set upon myself. As time progresses, it changes. Now I want to do it, because I think people deserve new stars who doesn't milk things.

Totes agree with whats been said so far. But on top of that, amd probably most importantly for me, it's almost like self therapy. I suffer from pretty bad social anxiety so posting my vids is a real challenge sometimes. But when I do its inevitably a good feeling and makes me feel a bit better about myself. And the overwhelmingly good feedback is good too :)

I make gaming content and I just love it. It's a passion of mine to make and edit videos. I think I'm addicted to the attention I get from others. Love to see comments, likes, view, etc. on my videos and channel lol. It's probably something i'll do for the rest of my life, no lie. I spend hours upon hours on my videos and it doesn't even matter to me. I had to sacrifice sleep time so that I can fit YouTube and school together in my schedule, but that's okay to me. I'm usually up 18-22 hours daily and sometimes even the full 24 hours but it's that work ethic that will make you successful in YouTube as well as anything else you ever do. When you want success more than you want to sleep, you wont miss the opportunity to be successful. Don't get me wrong, sleep is important and all, but someone had said once that in order to be successful, you have to be willing to lose some sleep at one time or another.

I want to take a minute and wish good luck to anyone who is a soldier in this battlefield that is YouTube. It's hard guys. No one told us it'd be easy but you already knew that. It's just a question of determination and commitment. Never give up and just keep uploading because, it'll pay off one day. Keep grinding and applying your technique into every single last video you ever make. Quit looking at your subscriber count because that'll just slow you down. These are just things anyone can tell you but not everyone will. I hope you guys with dreams can make them come true. Hopefully one day we'll see one another at the top because that's when we'll know we've made it. Best of luck to you guys!

-Alex (G-Legend)
