Posting Guidelines and Etiquette
Please keep all posted messages friendly, all trolling, racism, pornographic, sexual or hatred related content is not welcome on our forums or via any of our services. We appreciate members reporting all content which does not abide by our terms and guidelines to help staff with their duties and to make the community a better place for everyone.

Forum Policies
Advertising
Advertising/Market Research: All content posted of an advertising (for example posts advertising businesses/websites/social groups/crowdfunding/charities/donations) or market research nature via any of our services will be removed. The same also applies to subtle advertising where someone might deliberately post a thread asking about a service and then responding and any threads posted to create interest in a product/service/website. Your account may be disabled permanently for making posts of this nature and a warning may be placed upon your account. If you wish to advertise with us please contact us.
Crowdfunding: Linking to crowdfunding sites (patreon, gofundme and all the rest) is not permitted.
Recruiting (including networks): All content posted to advertise or recruit for a network or for directorships will be removed. You will receive a warning on your account for posting such content via any of our services. You may not use any network related branding, it will be removed and your username will be changed if it contains references to your network, you will be asked for a new username during this process and be issued a temporary username. Only permitted networks advertising directly with us are permitted to use their branding at YTtalk. In addition you may not use YTtalk to recruit any staff for any projects or businesses.
Spamming/Making Solicitations: Making solicitations about your videos and channel is not allowed within posts outside your own threads within the Videos and Channels section, a solicitation includes requesting others to check out your videos or channel or subscribe/sub4sub requests. Posting affiliate links is generally considered spam. Any other spam content will be removed and you will receive a warning on your account.
Videos & Channels Forum: In order to gain posting access to this section of YTtalk you must have VIP Membership or purchase the access package within the Shop. This is the only forum where you may promote your videos, channels and social media pages/personal blogs.
Threads, Posts and Accounts
Uploaded Images (Avatars, signatures, attachments, embeds): All image content uploaded to YTtalk must conform to all of our terms.
Double Posting: Double posting can happen, triple posting on the other hand will result in your posts being merged into a single post. Please ensure you use the Edit button where possible.
Thread Bumping: You may only bump threads where you have something of value to add to the discussion for example new information, new advice regarding the topic, please see specific forums rules regarding bumping within them.
Threads older than 3 months may not be bumped in the majority of our forums at all.
Within the introductions forum, threads older than 1 month may not be bumped. Please refer to the thread posted date to ensure you are not bumping really old content.
Sexual Content: Posting or displaying sexual content via any of our services is not permitted, such content will be removed and a warning may be placed upon your account, deliberately posting sexual content will result in your account being disabled.
Illegal Content: Posting links to, recommending and referencing websites that contain or promote illegal content or activities for example those that allow the downloading of copyrighted material such as pirated software, torrents or any other downloadable that is illegal is not permitted on YTtalk via any of our services. This includes any other unlawful material for example discussing piracy. A warning is issued for repeatedly posting such content.
Pointless Posts: Repeatedly making pointless posts is not allowed at YTtalk and all pointless posts will be removed if deemed pointless by the staff. Repeatedly posting pointless posts may result in a warning placed on your account.
Scam YouTube Networks/Accusatory Posts: All posts regarding "scam" YouTube MCN's and Networks and their owners/employees must be supported by evidence. We have zero tolerance of posts of a libellous nature ie are untrue and not supported with any kind of evidence. Editing Your Posts: You may edit your posts yourself by clicking the edit button within your post, staff reserve the right to reverse any post edits made by you at their own discretion at any time.
Editing Another Members Posts: This is not possible for members, if a post contains information you feel should be removed you may report it for removal at a staff members discretion, you may also contact the member directly via PM.
Copied/Pasted Posts: We expect that members do not copy and paste their posts. Copying and pasting posts may result in a warning placed on your account.
Botting/Automation: Any account found to be utilising a botting or automation tool to use YTtalk will be permanently disabled.
Sub4Sub/Like4Like/View4View: All exchanges involving sub for sub, like for like and view for view are not permitted at YTtalk.
Skype Groups, Google Hangouts and Chat Threads: Such threads are not permitted at YTtalk, if you would like to use such services with another member you may contact them via PM.
Introductory threads: Introductory threads must not be solely of a promotional nature. Reintroducing yourself is only permitted after 6 months of activity.
Sales/Trading
By posting and participating within the Buy, Sell and Trade forums you agree to both the YTtalk forum rules and agree that YTtalk and its staff members are in no way responsible nor liable for any losses or damages incurred from any purchases or sales made through any of our services. The YTtalk staff reserves the right to remove any thread without notice. Accounts reported for suspicious activity within these forums will be investigated and may be closed without notice.

Members, Accounts & Upgrades
Accounts: YTtalk member accounts are not owned by anyone and are non-transferable and may not be sold or traded. Member accounts are only permitted to be used by one person, you may only have one YTtalk account. If you have created more than one, your other may be closed, please PM a staff member to get it closed.
Username Changes: Usernames are permanent and cannot be changed.
Account Upgrades and Payment Terms/Information:
Impersonation: Members may not impersonate another person/YouTuber. If you have over 100,000 subscribers you may be required to verify your account (see below for more information). Any account made found to be impersonating someone else by failing or not completing the verification process upon request will be terminated and any other accounts linked to it will be permanently disabled.
Verified Status: We allow all members with over 100,000 subscribers to receive verified status after completing our verification process successfully. This allows you to have a verified badge display as you post. If you would like to get your account verified please see here for more information. When verification is requested by a staff member you must complete verification within one week or your account will be closed until you complete the verification process, requests may be made before you reach the threshold for early verification in some cases.
Warnings Information: We have a warnings system at YTtalk, each warning you receive includes 1 warning point, a total of 3 within a 2 week period results in an automatic account ban, if a total of 5 is received within a 2 week period your account is automatically banned. All warnings expire within 2 weeks of receiving them and repeat offenders may be banned at the staffs discretion.
Closing Your Account: If you would like to leave YTtalk the fastest way is to remove your filled in profile information and sign out yourself. If you would like for us to permanently close your account however please send a PM to an Administrator requesting this, please note we will not restore any closed accounts. Once a request has been received it will be processed after two weeks of a cooling off period. We will remove your YTtalk username, any filled in profile information including your email address and prevent further access to the account. Please note that account closure will not remove your username from any quoted posts or any posted content.

Privacy Policy
Information we gather and how we use it
Like most websites when visiting YTtalk and using it we log your IP address, time and date of your visit, browser and the referring website, these logs are deleted periodically. When signing up we also collect information including but not limited to your email address, date of birth and posting IP address.
You may opt into displaying your YouTube username and various social networking profiles which are displayed when posting here.
All of the information we gather is used to better your experience here at YTtalk, this includes but is not limited to displaying advertisements and displaying specific content to specific users.
We do not sell, rent, trade or share your email address/IP address with any third parties.
Your Personal Information
Your personal information is never shared, sold or traded and may only be given out when under a court order to do so. Under no circumstances do we release any of your browsing information to the public or any other entity.
Third Parties
We utilise some third party services at YTtalk for example from Google, Facebook and Twitter, please refer to their own privacy policies as our own privacy policy applies only to YTtalk.com.
At YTtalk we utilise VigLink which automatically affiliates commercial links. We would like to disclose that when a VigLink affiliate link is clicked we sometimes get paid if you purchase a product or service. To opt out of VigLink you can do so here. Site Emails and Newsletters - How to opt in and out.
YTtalk will occasionally send newsletters and emails to your registered email address. All newsletters and emails sent by YTtalk are opt in and opt out, you are able to switch them off and no longer receive them if you wish so.
Upon signing up you agree to receive all site emails and newsletters at your registered email address with the ability to opt out at any time.
Opting out or in is very easy simply visit your settings here and uncheck to receive site mailings. When unchecked you will not receive any further emails from YTtalk.

- Payments are not recurring and your payment will not renew automatically.

- VIP Membership is applied to your account once your purchase at PayPal has completed and is non-refundable and non-transferable, in some circumstances we may need to apply VIP manually to your account, this will be done within 24 hours of purchase.

- If you are under the age of majority in your state/country you will need permission from an adult to purchase VIP Membership before making a purchase. By making a purchase you are confirming you have parental permission or are over the age of majority.
- YTtalk cash may not be sold or traded with other members for real money, members found doing so will have their account suspended.
