Why Do You Youtube?

For me, the main reason i make videos is to have memories to look back on in the future and the love of being creative. When I was a kid my dad would always have one of those huge camcorders recording everything and anything, and i feel like you don't see much of that anymore because people can now pick up their phone and record whatever whenever but for the most part people who do that aren't really concerned with having a montage of videos that they can have to look back on in the future. My dad still has hundreds of video tapes all in chronological order from the birth of my sisters and me to all the family vacations. I want to be able to have memories saved in a similar fashion rather then having tons of pointless videos stored in my phone. I just love creating and being able to be me on a platform like youtube. It brings me tons of joy!!

One of my favourite posts on this site. Simple question but people can express themselves & its a great way to get noticed! I suppose :)

The reason why i youtube is because i got to a point in my life where i didnt know what to do with myself and i didnt know where i was going. Something happened to me a few years ago and it effected me big time. Since that time, it changed into a completely different person. I looked different & i felt different.

I wanted to express myself, like the inner me, the me thats only out around certain people.

Making youtube videos helped me connect to people that were open and wanted to be as open as me -

Thats why i follow the people that i follow!
I get them & i enjoy there story, makes ya feel a little less alone i suppose!

Dont get me wrong, i have people around me, i have a beautiful girlfriend and friends and family! But its a completely new world - youtube is people being themselves and people loving it!

I can use my creative mind, i can do it in my own time. It doesnt cost anything & plus, theres an instant demand for it!

I love youtube, i just need youtube to love me back haha - so far so good!

But i want to travel, meet new people & make new friends - Youtube is the perfect way to do that & i can take you all with me!
