For me the answer comes in a few different parts.
I've wanted to make content on YouTube for many, many, many.... years... literally to the point where I'd be YouTube's grandfather if I started way back then, but due to a lot of problems in life, bad decisions being made, school, education, lack of proper tech, it was never an option. Some years later I had some of those options fixed, but YouTube didn't have the partner program in my country which was such a disappointment at the time, completely discouraged me so I focused just on studies and didn't think much of it, even though it was always a dream to do.
I feel like in life actions speak louder than words, though in YouTube's case words and actions together make for truly amazing things. I want to be a part of a community that helps each other always, no matter who they are, no matter what they are, no matter where in life they are. I've always been at a low place in life, I always was able to give others advice that helped them but never was able to help myself.
With YouTube I feel that if I grow a community I would be able to inspire them, to never give up on their dreams, to just work hard on whatever they want, if they put their all into it they will succeed, they will accomplish their dreams, even if things may seem impossible or unlikely, anything can happen if you give it your all.
The financial aspect to YouTube to some may seem like a taboo, something to stay clear of, but when it comes down to it, people need money to live, I live in a low standard economy with low monthly earnings, even earning $500 a month off YouTube beats having a standard job here, which is completely mental when you think about it. Being able to work full time on YouTube making the content you love and not having to worry about rent, or food or bills or any of those things is wonderful, and as much as people try to avoid it it is one aspect of the journey of YouTube.
Earn to live, inspire a community, and live the dream. Maybe it's a bit of a standardized reply, but the feeling is mutual between so many. Who wouldn't want to become a star, pay off all of their parents debts or give them a house or anything they want, they can look at you and be proud, that they didn't go wrong in life.
I've seen people give tubers s**t when they do things like that which is mind boggling. If they were in the same situation they wouldn't help their parents, absolutely crazy!
So at the end of the day, love what you do, have fun with your choices, and give it your all, put everything you have into what you're doing and work on accomplishing all your goals and dreams, my mission in life.
