I agree with the OP a great deal. I was in college when YT came out and I thought it was great but, for years, I had a lot of self worth issues. Working on vids really helped me build confidence and pride in productivity. I've learned a lot about people in the short 10 months I've been on YT - that haters seem to be rustled up by action...if you do nothing, no one says a thing, but if you produce something then out come the critics.

With each vid I get new ideas for design and production and try to incorporate them into the next. As an artist, I'm satisfied by being able to actualize my ideas into a medium that, when I was a kid, I thought impossible. I still worry that I don't look perfect sometimes, or my sound is all over the place, but the joy I get in uploading something new and having positive feedback from my friends is something worth the time spent editing. :D

Liked your julian Assange video.[DOUBLEPOST=1475629586,1475629503][/DOUBLEPOST]I mentioned in my intro post, I used to be a stand up comedian and had to give that up. I missed bringing the funny and thought YouTube would be a good way to do it.

Honestly the reason that I started my channel was to try and find more like-minded people. Not necessarily that they agree with me, because I love a good debate, more so that they are open minded and willing to think critically. I've actually found a few in my short time.

I YouTube for a couple reasons... I'm currently touring around Europe in a Motorhome and so want to film some cool places and also because I want to just create the best videos I can and share them with people... also I got a drone and want to use it hahaha

Hi, i do youtube because i enjoy making videos, i just made my channel so im just starting off but so far im happy, also i want to make people laugh and make their day better.

I started my channel for a few different reasons. First, I enjoy creating videos and also like to them. The other is more of a personal benefit I hope to achieve and that is to get myself to be a little more out going and not so monotone in my speaking. Odd way to work on that I suppose by putting myself in front of a camera but like I said, I enjoy making videos and I'm also passionate about my subject.

I started youtube because I wanted a safe place to be myself and create. To make music, vent about my thoughts, and document memories I can look back on later in life.
Its funny, no one in my life really gets to see the things I am willing to share on youtube. Anyone else experience that?

I do youtube because I love to spread my art (which is poetry) throughout the world. I want to inspire the viewers as well as representing the art form of poetry. I'm new to YTTalk I already love this forum website!
