I first started doing YouTube probably around 7 or 8 years ago. I was silly and little, and just enjoyed making videos that fit this. I'd do stuff like line rider videos, lip sync videos, and stupid little skits with my friends. I mostly just did it because it was fun. A few years later, I moved on to a new channel. I wanted to actually create something I could be proud of, so I built a new channel from the ground up, and have done a bit with it for the past 6 years. I more or less followed a trend of making videos, uploading them, later realizing I didn't like their quality, and taking them down. Finally, my channel went mostly dead for a while with only an upload here and there. Then, I graduated highschool. I knew I wanted to go into media production, but wasn't really sure exactly how. I originally aimed to move to Hollywood and write films. Finally, I reached the point where I am now. The more I thought about my future, the more scared I became and the more hesitation I had. Recently, I realized that I don't have to move to Hollywood to get into media production. Now, I put out daily content with a goal of trying to one day be able to use the site to at least partially pay for my living expenses and maybe eventually do it full time. I know aiming for a career in YT videos is a bit sketchy, but I'd rather shoot to achieve my dreams than have no plan at all. Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to share my story, and maybe someone out there can relate and learns from the lessons I've learned. -Ethan
