when editing and finalizing your video try to add music if there isn't any and keep it at a low volume so not as to overpower your commentary soft music can help enhance your video

Always do test shoots before you actually record!
Now I don't mean, test that everything is working right before you record, I mean scrap at least 5 things on purpose and evaluate what you can improve before you even put it out. This is for if you're trying something new on your channel.

Probably been said plenty of times but can't be over-emphasized; Make sure you're making your videos for the right reason (Is it a passion for you, do you want to make money, is it for fame, etc)
For me, making videos is a pure passion so anything that happens on top of that is seen as a bonus. You could get tied up staring at statistics and lose sight of what you original set out to do.
