Consistency. Consistency. Consistency.

Always stay on schedule and don't blow off an upload because of laziness. I used to be lazy with my uploads but now I've uploaded daily for almost a month and my channel is undoubtedly doing the best it ever has.

However don't upload a bad video just to stay consistent. Make sure you put time and effort into all your videos as well as keeping them consistent.

Pay less attention to number of views and more to the average watched time. When i started focusing on keeping the viewer interested instead of just getting the attention, my videos were more often recomended on "what to watch". Therefor, try to keep spammers away from your videos, as they allways seem to watch 15 seconds before they comment.[DOUBLEPOST=1418155212,1418155114][/DOUBLEPOST]
Answer every comment you get. It'll make your viewers feel more engaged and attratced to your channel
This is so important. What pisses me off the most on youtube, are people spamming other peoples videos, often complaining about low amount of subscribers, and they haven't even answered the comments on they're own videos:p

I strongly suggest not having a long intro. If its more than 5 seconds I think it tends to annoy people while they sit waiting for the content. I personally click off videos if they have intros longer than 5-6 seconds.

I think a perfect intro is 1-3 seconds long. Check out a channel called MediocreFilms as they have what I would call a perfect intro.
