I actually started YouTube ten years ago when Myspace was starting to become a big thing. Myspace, in my opinion, was what YouTube needed to springboard into popularity. Although I stopped making videos up until the last few years it was always something that I've had a passion for.
I've had a stutter my entire life. For a long time it was something that I was very embarrassed and ashamed of. Not always being able to talk is something that's incredible frustrating. Social media, Youtube included, was the place where I didn't have to worry about stuttering because I could just go back and edit. I didn't have to worry about stuttering because I didn't actually have to speak.
So yeah, that's what first got my 14 year old self into YT
