Don't "Um and Ah". I learned this in drama and public speaking as a kid. It is better to have a silent pause as you collect your thoughts. "Um's" "Ah's" and "Like's" make your audio quality dip huge.

Reply to this with a SINGLE YouTube tip. Anything that a YouTuber might find helpful. It can be an obvious tip or something a little more complicated. You don't have to agree with all tips posted. I thought it would be cool to have a whole thread of YouTube tips that are short and easy to read.

Here's my tip:
Change your profile picture to either a close up of you face or a your logo for your channel.[/QUOTE

Be interesting and be yourself.

I recommend using TubeBuddy. Even as a small YouTuber, I find it helps me add tags to my videos (I have a hard time thinking of creative tags to make).

Depending on the type of YouTuber you are and the content you present, the SOUND and sound quality sometimes trumps the visuals and editing. I'm a comedy rat, so it's a huge treat for me to be able to turn away or even close my eyes during a video and still giggle like a madman. Their visuals are just bonus points lol

Don't forget to have all stuff charged before recording haha I have had that issue and then had to wait to record until it was done charging.

Develop a genuine and honest relationship with someone that does YouTube too. Talk about YT stuff, give each other tips and ideas on each others vids and editing. Lift each other up when one of you doesnt feel like filming. Pretty much have a gym buddy, but for YouTube!

What's up guy's! KillG here!
I created this thread so that people who just started YouTube can get more views and subs fast. Post YOUR best tip on how they can improve their videos. Think about the kind of video YOU would like to watch. Good luck! :)
My best tip is: Always be yourself. Never try to be someone you aren't. People can notice if you are acting. So be natural and people will enjoy watching your video's :)
