Watch your own videos. It's not sheer vanity if you watch yourself back every once in a while and take notes. Do you talk too fast? Could you have edited this better? Was there an issue with the camera? Be critical of your own content and you'll start to notice drastic changes in no time.

By this, I mean - don't think that a continuous stream of rambling is always a wise idea. You can maintain good audience retention and cut the length of your videos in half if you edit out all the times you say "uhh" or "uhm" or something that isn't really important.
Write a basic outline of what you'd like to cover, and make sure you stay on track. Your videos will instantly look more polished and interesting if they're to the point and don't look lazily put together.
 
Don't make reaction videos, it's unoriginal, downright annoying and offers nothing new. I can understand video responses but someone sitting in front of a camera watching a video expressing the same reaction some of us make just irritates the hell out of me.
