If making an outro card use the simple and sample method. Simple design with a sample of previous content. Help them interact with your video through annotations at the end. Not all throughout the video as those tend to annoy.

Some people are great at freestyling a video or film, but remember that the best movies are scripted. Anything on YouTube should be practiced just as much as an actor would. WE ARE HERE TO ENTERTAIN PEOPLE!!!
Only when acting.
Never script lets plays (should be improvised)
Script commentarys to an certain extend(you can script commentarys when you start out but later i would recommend to just write down words to remind you. You can keep scripting them 100% but only if you can do voiceacting decently and you sound like its improvised . It should just sound lively and not like a robot reading the script. )

Script shorts, stuff you do voiceact(animations), reviews (you should still sound lively. So you would need to train it a bit first) , scetches, movies...
Practically anything that you make yourself and is not including reactions should be scripted to an certain extend.

Make Youtube friends! Many people are in the same boat and by checking out other people and finding content you enjoy will help others and yourself in learning new things.

Don't let your channel get too fake and commercial. Keep it real.[DOUBLEPOST=1434355853,1434355412][/DOUBLEPOST]
Don't assume that other youtubers are better people than non youtubers just because they have the same interests as you. there are alot of people in the community that will use you and once they got what they want will throw you away like a piece of trash.
I'm dealing with this right now. Thought I made friends and we could support each other but it's like they fell off the face of the earth. I tried to get in touch but after a few times of giving them the benefit of the doubt I just quit trying. F them. I'll make it on my own, and make new friends. Oh well. What goes around comes around.

If you don't think your video is right at the editing stage, or don't enjoy it yourself to watch, don't bother uploading it! Also, putting more time into editing produces a better result!

Reply to this with a SINGLE YouTube tip. Anything that a YouTuber might find helpful. It can be an obvious tip or something a little more complicated. You don't have to agree with all tips posted. I thought it would be cool to have a whole thread of YouTube tips that are short and easy to read.

Here's my tip:
Change your profile picture to either a close up of you face or a your logo for your channel.
Be good at self promotion. When you get popular it will be a good idea to make an app, merch, and a website for yourself.
