Doing research is a must, you've got to know who's attention you want, how you're going to get it and most importantly what your channel is based one - it needs a recurring theme to get the right audience and for your viewers and subscribers to stick with you.

I have also noticed thumbnails are a great way to get attentions on your videos, if you create great thumbnails people will want to click on your video because it will look attracting.

Don't be afraid of who you ACTUALLY are. Don't feel forced to be like everybody else. You are unique as the way you are, nobody wants to see a pressured-by-your-own-self personality. Do whatever you feel like doing and don't be embarrased, isn't it what youtube is about?

And I echo this. Everyone has a "little weird" in them. Let it out. you'll feel better. And everyone will feel better.

Record ahead if possible, and have at least a 4:1 ratio of content ready to upload to uploaded content. Having a vault of content makes sure that life doesn't get in the way of your schedule.

This is important!! Haha. I'm just starting out, but already I've found myself at a point (more than once) where I'm like: "Crap, it's been two or three days since I uploaded! Agh, need to get something out!"

I do gaming stuff, so I end up putting too much pressure on myself to get a good gameplay and choke it and my dilemma just grows. Planning ahead, here we come!

Don't sell your soul to Satan without reading the contract. And by soul and I mean channel. And by Satan, I mean networks. In other words, read the contract before signing it.
I like this. You narrowed it down to the T! I totally agree. Don't sell your soul, know what your getting into, and be cautious![DOUBLEPOST=1432902103,1432902027][/DOUBLEPOST]Reddit is a good platform for your Youtube videos. I post mine on there all the time and get around 10-15 views a day. It's not much but people are viewing.
