You don't have to have a top dollar editing program, free ones work just fine.
Don't search for free editing software.
Use lightworks
It's free and the only limitation is that you can only export in 720 p.
Also there's a pro version but the only difference are some functions which are made for blockbuster / movie creation.
The free version has all you need and more so why even bother to buy the pro ( unless you wanna make a cinema movie )
Free is free forever.
But u gotta relogin every 30 days ( free. No new account needed ) to refresh the 30 days. It's not a trial it's how lightworks wants it to work. But the account is free the relogin doesn't require a new account so yey.
 
Imagine your subs standing in the same room as you on the same spot.
You will notice how many people they are in real live even if you just have 10 subs

I use Videopad. So far it seems to have everything Sony Vegas has. At least, the stuff I use.
