To add to this, if your using tubebuddy youtube actually will refresh your search ranking damn near instantly after you add/remove tags. During export/upload downtime do some trial and error with your tags. Ive been able to take some of my videos from a 3rd page ranking to 1st just by tweaking a few words.

This is one great tip! Does it work in the free version of tb?

Try to make shorter videos at first. People who don't know who you are are more likely to watch a 5 minute video than a 20 minute one. Once you get a steady audience, you can increase the time and perhaps add more stuff. This is something that has worked wonders on another channel of mine. ^^

Mention other of your previous videos and other YouTubers that are in your niche in your videos. You never know when someone might return the favor and shout you out!

Follow trends, collaborate, create goals
I'm really starting to see growth with my channel following this tip.

Simple, but it makes a big difference.[DOUBLEPOST=1490032321,1490030771][/DOUBLEPOST]
I don't know if it has been said but turn everything off like phone, facebook or skype while you're recording... it could save you to record the entire thing again... Believe me the three happened to me and every time it's like at the middle of the recording, you don't here it. And when you edit the video you're like ..... Oh gosh...
Very underrated tip here. I learned this the hard way. I had good video. when I listened to it... echoes and other foreign sounds ruined it IMO.

Try posting a variety of content. The more videos you have to watch (of good quality) the more likely you'll be able to grow your fanbase.

If you're a PG channel and are collaborating with a guy that likes to swear, make an art of censorship. I use Hanna Barbera cartoony sound effects to censor swearing in my videos and it adds tremendously to the video!

Heres my tip: Do not delete ur worst vids (if you have), still enable comments feature and be sure to filtering some harashment words [emoji28]

Hello, I'm opening this thread for everyone who wants to share their knowledge and learn something new at the same time.
So basically, reply to this with THE BEST tip you have, to grow a channel/get more views etc.

Okay let me start. CONSISTENY (i know, everyone says that but it really works!!)
YouTube does value creators who upload consistently and frequently, and will send more traffic to those creators who do that. Try uploading every day for a week or every other day for a month and you'll see the results :)

Now it's your turn.
