Have a relationship with the fans. The more involved you get with them the more apart of the channel they will feel.

Here's my tip:
Change your profile picture to either a close up of you face or a your logo for your channel.
I like the close up or logo idea for profile pictures.

If I could pick just one tip it would probably be to LOVE what you are doing. Seriously if someone is trying to maintain a YouTube channel without having a passion for the content then there won't be as high of a level of success as if they were to truly enjoy it.
