Youtube tip: If you're a guy, change your gender to female. You'll have higher chances to become successful! ;)

And now my serious youtube tip: Go comment on new videos that relate to your content but don't exactly tell people to go check your video out just be nice and say anything. Its enough if you're being social in comments of other peoples videos that relate to your content. :smilingcute:
I do this. It works! I mean actually watch the video...don't just comment and then click off. But yes, it works![DOUBLEPOST=1471943346,1471943038][/DOUBLEPOST]
When your channel is new, take your time to experiment with what works and what doesn't.

And don't obsess over how many views or subscribers you have. It will send you mental. Just focus on making the best content you can :)
Your advice was so good I was sad you didn't have any content on your channel :(

THUMBNAILS! make thumbnails fun and something that a person would want to click on for example add fun colors, emojis, bold and bright letters/prases that will make someone want to click and watch your video!

Still working on getting my first 10 subs but one thing I definitely try to do for every video is some form of an intro.
There are plenty of videos I have watched of other small youtubers who have no intro at all and it leaves me a little confused as to who they are and what kind of video I am about to watch.

Titles should explain what the video is about. Thumbnails give you a preview of the video. And the about page should give you enough info on who you are watching and what to expect from the channel. Intros aren't really necessary in my opinion. If you're confused it's because they haven't applied these crucial things to their channel and videos.

Isn't the title more of a hook though along with the thumbnail?

I still think a 5 second intro just saying "Hello my name is ____" is more than enough.

No. Both should give the potential viewer some insight on what to expect. Think of successful magazines and books...even newspapers. The headlines/titles and images are the things that help them sell. On the back of a book there is a synopsis-- Think of that as a youtuber's about page. If those things are executed well, people will become curious and will check out your content.

That's a greeting, which is good. I was referring to those 15-30 second music videos people slap on before they start their actual video.

Oh ok, I see what you mean.
I meant just the greeting/intro at the beginning of any video you upload.
I understand what you are getting at wth the headlines and titles. Very helpful! It has me thinking more of what I may change on my Youtube page. Thank you!
