One of the most important factors that will help you become a successful YouTuber is to select a topic that wasn't covered before and make a video on it keeping in mind that this topic should be an issue that a lot of users are searching for.

Good luck!

Reply to this with a SINGLE YouTube tip. Anything that a YouTuber might find helpful. It can be an obvious tip or something a little more complicated. You don't have to agree with all tips posted. I thought it would be cool to have a whole thread of YouTube tips that are short and easy to read.

Here's my tip:
Change your profile picture to either a close up of you face or a your logo for your channel.
Use a good logo that matches with your banner :)
Because your YouTube layout is the first thing people see

Don't forget to press record before you start talking. ( :( )
I've forgotten do this quite a few times!

Tip: Become friends with other YouTubers that do the same thing that you do. Help them, give them tips that you have learned, they will likely return the favor. There's a small group of small YouTubers that I work with consistently, one of them is way bigger than the rest but still considered 'small' in terms of YouTube. Sometimes they're in a bad spot, be there for them, friendship is more important than views and subs, making friends and allies in any form of communication is important.

Make sure you interact with your fans! When speaking in videos perhaps mention something that a fan has asked/said in a comment and talk about it. Fans love to know that you're listening to what they have to say!

My tip: Watch motivational videos when you are down in the dumps because every single YouTuber out there has going through the "Why am I doing this?" phase and the "I feel like giving up, I'm not going anywhere" phase. WATCH MOTIVATIONAL VIDEOS! And watch videos you think are funny, remember why you are doing it. Every view counts on your video even if it's not up in the 100ks.
