A goal by the end of 2016 Hopefully! 2,000+ subs been grinding hard with work, uni and youtube, trying my best to put quality videos out, 2k would definitely be awesome.
 
Hey hey I just started my channel 6 weeks ago and my goals for 2016 is around 500 Subs and 100.000 views. The thing is that I´m from Germany much people here don't really know how to "use" YT properly... So I´m not sure if this goals are achievable (even if I work hard on it). :)
 
My goal for 2016 is to reach 50K views (currently on 10K+) and want to hit the 1K sub mark (currently at 251). Just like you i want to stick to realistic goals and slowly build my channel rather than have high expectations and expecting 1K subs in 1-2 months :p. Good luck to all of you reaching your goals for 2016 and hopefully I will cross some of your paths later in the year.
 
I'm going to set the realistic goal of 3K by the end of next year but 4K would be amazing :') dream on me!
I'd also like to upload twice a week every week again, I'll see how that works out though
Also meet new people at Summer In The City 2016, its great there :D
 
It is definitely possible! I had a dream to get 200 subscribers and I ended up with over 300 this year! I am super excited for the oncoming years! Been hard at work since 2012! I got dreams and I plan to make them come true!
 
Keep trying to find ways to make quality videos that build an emotional connection to the audience so they care for the animals and want to see them do cute things and untimately get adopted. I think if that happens, I can reach a more specific goal of getting to 1,000 subscribers.
 
Work hard, then you can fulfill your goal easily, and I hope you over 1000 subscriber the next year. Best of Luck.
 
I've started something less then a month ago and my goal would be at least 500 subscribers and 7500 views by the end of July.

That would be something amazing for me because I enjoy doing this.
