What does everyone use for editing?

I started out using Win Movie Maker back in 2006..
moved up to Sony Vegas Pro in 2008-2010,
then i found Adobe Premiere a little after getting a DSLR ..
havent dropped Premiere since!

Some good suggestion of software to check out on here thanks!. At the moment I use a mix between Sony Vegas Pro 12 on my Windows desktop rig and iMove on the MacBook/ipad.. Personally I find SVP12 much more suited for my needs with a far more intuitive 'technical' interface rather than apple's attempt at dumbing things down for simplicity?

I have used the Adobe suite for years at this point and love it to bits. Sadly it does have its fair share of issues, more specifically with how it crashes somewhat often. But as a whole it has served me well!

I never thought to look at Adobe Premier, why do you find it better than SVP? Easier or just more features etc?

I use Vegas Pro it is not to hard and you can do alot of cool stuff in it. i think it is great

I started using movie maker, which is VERY easy, then went over to Premiere pro, for a challenge.

Using Sony Vegas Pro 13.0 , it's serving me very well! Lots of tutorials online. I try to learn a new editing "trick" on each video I create. At 1st it was a nightmare, but that is expected when using brand new software. Now we've become buddies
