I use Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015. Only costs $20 for the creative cloud app. Amazing functionality and almost limitless possibilities. I would use this over all other editing softwares honestly.

I've also used Camtasia Studio, FInal Cut Pro, and Movie Maker. Stay away from Movie Maker and honestly Camtasia is pretty limited as well. Premiere and Final Cut are very popular in the Youtube Gaming community.

All the best!

I would recomed you hitfilms 4 its a free editing software and it is amazing. It is also very easy to use.

Hey guys and gals,
Just a quick question here: what does everyone use to edit their videos?
I'm curious to know- I use Final Cut Pro X, which I hear is like the marmite of the editing world, you either love it or you hate it (I obviously love it).

Cheers,
Chris
Adobe CC I bought a year of it with my TNTech University email. It saved me a lot of money.

It works WONDERS! Premiere Pro plus After Effects and Audition and Photoshop all working together via Dynamic Link is fantastic.

I recently got SONY VEGAS PRO! Its insane for editing and creating sick videos! go check out some of my stuff

So this is kind of a funny story so bear with me here for a second.
Before I started making gaming videos I bought Sony Vegas Pro (I think? I haven't looked at the box in years so I don't remember what I bought) but it never worked with any of the footage from my Elgato and I couldn't find tutorials on how to get it to work so I was stuck using Windows Movie Maker for basically all of high school! I recently just got a mac and I've been using iMovie and I honestly recommend iMovie for anyone just starting out who has a mac and doesn't wanna spend money on an editing software! You can edit your videos just as nicely with iMovie, it just takes more time and patience:happy:

I use iMovie at the moment but will be upgrading to Final Cut Pro X soon. I really like the interface they both have and am a bit daunted by Premiere Pro
