Hey guys and gals,
Just a quick question here: what does everyone use to edit their videos?
I'm curious to know- I use Final Cut Pro X, which I hear is like the marmite of the editing world, you either love it or you hate it (I obviously love it).

Cheers,
Chris

Hey Chris, I have always wanted to try Final Cut Pro, but at $300 dollars, that's kind of tough when you're on a budget. I like using Premiere Pro CC because they allows you to use that program as well as all of their other programs like Photoshop, Lightroom and more for just $30 a month.

I know in the long run it might cost more, but I love that I'm able to use all of the programs and you're able to use their cloud system to keep all your projects synced.

I use windows 10 movie maker for splitting, combining and to put the music but adobe after effects to balance the color and blur things out

Well......believe it or not.
But due to my pc being on its last legs, Im recording via my Ps4 and yeti microphone. I then upload and edit using the horrible youtube editor. And my thumbnails are all done in MS Paint

Yeah I hear you,so far what I have planned Sony Vegas is good enough

How is your render times with Vegas? I use Adobe Premiere Pro (never used Vegas) and some people say that Vegas can be slower at rendering than other editors? Has anyone ever used Final Cut Pro?

That's right Final Cut Pro is good, but too pricey!
I've switched to Filmora, it's lightweight and easy to use, no learning curve!

I used windows movie maker because it was easy to use without all the bells and whistles. My latest video though I decided to dive in and use Sony Vegas. And I was shocked at how easy the software is to use and the extra features is amazing. So I'll be using that from now on
