What does everyone use for editing?

Hey guys and gals,
Just a quick question here: what does everyone use to edit their videos?
I'm curious to know- I use Final Cut Pro X, which I hear is like the marmite of the editing world, you either love it or you hate it (I obviously love it).

Hi there,

I'm like you and use Final Cut as I have a iMac. However, I have tried Adobe Premire and iMove but much prefer Final Cut. It has the magnetic timeline that most software doesn't use but on the flip side it's not very good on audio editing like Sony Vegas.

Sony Vegas Pro 13. As someone who is in school for video production Sony Vegas is probably the most user friendly I have came across.

I recently installed Adobe Premiere and will try to do most of my editing there going forward. Premiere reminds me of an advanced version of Sony Vegas.

I use Sony Vegas Movie Studio cost around $60-$80 but its well worth it.

I'm using Final Cut Pro X. Since college I've grown up using final cut.. although I used to edit BackYard Wrestling stuff when I was younger and I miss using Sony Vegas.. I got so good with that :')

Windows Movie maker is the best for free version

I use Final Cut Pro X, though I have used Movie Maker, iMovie, and Adobe Premiere Pro before. I prefer FCPX of them all, although it costs $$$.
