I am a vegas pro 13 user... I tried to get into adobe premiere but compared to sony vegas it seems so complicated with a sharp learning curve.

I bought myself a $100 video editor that is LIKE vegas pro, but a step down. It's called Movie Studio Platinum. I got the edition where it comes with some other features :)

personally i use adobe CC. i recently got acess to it and I'm loving it. In my experience though the worst program is movie make since it has so many limitations and kept desynching my audio.

I'm a Premiere Pro user myself, it just feels the most natural to me. I guess because I'm used to other Adobe products.

I use Adobe Premiere Pro CC! I love it and the transitions always seem smooth in between cuts when I need to edit to the music and it just works very well. I would have probably gone with Final Cut if I had a Mac but yeah. You can checkout the products made from the software at my youtube channel @tommysatterlee :)

I'm more comfortable with Vegas Pro; however, most of my work is actually done on After Effects, then the final video is mounted in Vegas Pro (sound effects, music, other cuts)

It depends, if its just a regular gaming video or something i will use Camtasia Studio 8 but for more in-depth and better quality videos After Effects CS6

I've tried out everything from Movie Maker, Nerovision, Final Cut Pro, Premiere, iMovie - but the one which wins for me is Da Vinci Resolve.
Hollywood standard, has a basically full feature free version of the product, easy to use, amazing colour grading and incredible results - everything wrong with the video visually can be ironed out in post! :D

After Movie Maker decided to bomb out on me (I can barely use any of the features), I am looking for a new editor. The only problem is that I'm broke and my parents still manage all of my funds. Does anyone know of a free editor that doesn't have a watermark?
