I started out with iMovie then downloaded a trial of Final Cut Pro x and absolutely loved it. Sadly had to go back to iMovie in the meantime while trying other programs, none of which were any better than iMovie. I movie is alright but not the most powerful, just simple. I am now using adobe premiere pro cc trial. I tried it once before but scared me away because it was foreign to me and not as simple and easy to use as iMovie or FCP. This second time around I'm using Adobe premiere pro and I'm still getting use to it but I love it too. It's been a while since I've used FCP so I am not sure which one I like best. I do like that if I ever get a PC I am able to use Premiere with it as well but FCP is cheaper. Hmmmm....

Having used both the Vegas Pro 13 and Movie Studio Platinum 13 trials, I think I might invest in Movie Studio. It's simpler to use for a guy like me who just needs the basics (the $350 price difference may have swayed me also )

Hoping to get some decent footage taken in the next few weeks and have a video up by Halloween.

Adobe Premiere CS5, my favorite! I use this one also for school and on my internship, so one day I am going to be a Premiere master muahah!

Premier Pro CC, Audition CC and Photoshop CC are the complete utensils we use to edit everything to do with our videos. After Effects is a learning process for us all aswell haha.

I started using Adobe Premiere but it turned out to be too complicated for a beginner so I changes to Sony Vegas and that is working better =)

Im using Movie studio Plat. any thoughts on that? i like it but its not great and i know there are better programs out there. any suggestions?
