What does everyone use for editing?

Adobe Premiere Pro. Luckily I was introduced to a lot of the industry standard software early on in my design education!

I use Sony Vegas, but I have little idea of what I'm doing so I might as well use something more simple

We use Sony Vegas 12, has everything. Looking to include After Effects during the winter.

I use a Microsoft software known as Microsoft Expression Encoder Pro 4. As far as I have seen it is a pretty linear encoder/editor that is pretty well made. I had some trouble (through my own error/ lack of encoding knowledge) on making a decent quality video and was stuck at 360p for a while, but after some research and toying around I have managed to upload videos up to 1080p in quality. You can see the difference in my last few videos as compared to my latest one of my Lets play. I am currently looking for other software that I can use for creating special effects on the video and so far After Effects seems pretty promising.

I use Wondershare I like it a lot and it's easy eventually i will buy the more expensive video editing software

I am using PowerDirector 13. It was the best balance between price and quality. I am very happy with it.
