What is the best (easy) program for slide shows with effects ? Please dont write camtasia :S

Having just used the free trial for sony movie studio, I take back everything about lightroom. This (even the trial version) is soooooo much better, I will be purchasing this once christmas is out of the way.

I am currently using Priemere Pro and AE. I managed to get a cheap annual subscription on creative cloud. $40 USD / month. Which I split with a co-worker. not a bad deal

It's good to see some of the other options out there that I had no clue existed!

Adobe Premier CC Pro CC 2015. It has a lot of functionality - just comes with a bit of a learning curve that is easily overcome. I used to use Vegas exclusively, which I still really like, but it isn't available for OS X.
