I actually use Filmora Wondershare (I know... I know...)

I like it because its easy to use and is actually quite 'feature rich' for a basic editor. It's also VERY stable and rarely ever crashes.

I do have a copy of SV to install, but I just haven't got round to it and I'm not looking forward to learning a new software...

I started with DaVince Resolve but soon joined the cult of Adobe and got myself a Premiere Pro subscription. It's well worth the money and I actually learn a little bit more about the program every time I use it.

We at Geek Crossing use Adobe (Premiere Pro/Photoshop/After Effects). My husband typically is the one who makes our thumbnails, but we haven't really delved into making intro videos yet. How important do you think they are?

Hey guys and gals,
Just a quick question here: what does everyone use to edit their videos?
I'm curious to know- I use Final Cut Pro X, which I hear is like the marmite of the editing world, you either love it or you hate it (I obviously love it).

Cheers,
Chris

We use Adobe Premiere Pro/Photoshop/After Effects. I came from Mac family, so I was used to using iMovie, so it took a little while to get used to this, but the transition was not difficult and I can do so much more on it! I am very happy with my software, although it is my husband who does most of our editing.

We use Final Cut Pro.

What kind of intro videos are you referring to? Do you mean a channel trailer, or intros at the beginning of your videos? What does that have to do with what software we use?

Specifically for intros at the beginning of videos. Is there any better software for making said intro or videos as a whole besides what we have?

Do you mean some kind of animated logo type intro? Not knowing exactly what you're wanting to do makes it hard to answer, but Premier and After Effects can do anything - IF you know how to use them.
If you are referring to animated/logo type intros, there are a lot of online services that do a decent job VERY easily.

Just like what people have already mentioned. If you are good at premiere pro and after effects, you can create intro yourself of your choice. So keep practicing. I use premiere pro for editing videos.
