Intro or no intro?

Like a gaming intro? I would but I would put a funny/important clip in front of it first.
 
I think and intro is up to you, I had an intro before I renamed my channel. Maybe a small intro to the game name is nice but I really think and Intro is up to you as a person, I personally am not going to do an intro but I have an outro Ive made and will put in my videos
 
I'll be honest I hate hate hate intros. Waste of my time. I either fast forward through it or watch a different video. I'm trying to make them more natural in my videos

I'm new to youtube video making so take my opinions with a grain of salt. I think having intros are a must. Depending on the content especially - there are ways to add intros after a short clip segment. In your case and your videos, the short intro in the beginning following music and your dogs fits the style your presenting. Maybe add some sound effects for the paws to make it more entertaining at the start?(just throwing ideas). But definitely have the intro.[DOUBLEPOST=1473101721,1473101663][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yea, I agree. Especially for games. Having and interesting segment or clip before the intro adds transitional effect. " More cool stuff awaits" or "What just happen? I gotta watch the rest of the vid" kind of thing?
 
I don't really don't see anything wrong with having an intro. I have a new gaming channel and I feel that it makes me look professional, almost like I know what I'm doing :giggle:

But I agree that it should be short but sweet. A couple of seconds isn't going to hurt!
 
Whenever I see someone with a ten second intro, I immediately press "L" upon loading the video to skip it. Just make it short so it's over by the time the viewer decides to skip it.

I think intros are good because they show who you are and are like your little signature
 
I'm having the same quandary about if I should make an intro or not. Right now I'm leaning against it since I want to do Army Vlogs and I could see people getting annoyed by it
