Intro or no intro?

Really short intros are all right, like maybe ten, thirty to forty seconds long, or if you want to test your luck, go for a minute. But anything over that is really pushing it, people are here for whatever content you have, not a recap or introduction to people who might not even be in that video...

I have a couple of intros that I use for different niches.

In my motorhome videos I have a stop motion intro, I used to put this at the front of each video but now I run it in a smaller frame during the first minute of the video with no audio. That way I still have recognisable branding but there is no break in the video where viewers can lose attention.

For motorcycle videos I have a short 3 second intro that I run after the first clip of the video.
