How do you come up with your video ideas?

I've only been creating videos for a very short amount of time so I might not be the best help here. However, for me I tend to see or hear things throughout daily life that might inspire an idea. If I think of something on the spot that could work well as a line for script, i'll take a note on my phone or laptop. When I get some more free time later on, i'll take any notes I made out and start forging the small ideas into a proper concept. Hope this helped :^)

For me, when Im writing a script for skits, i focus on what the main idea is, and work around it from there. ideas usually come to me from real life examples that can be relative in the video and i make sure i can show it my videos without stating the obvious. I then think about what i can relate to from current issues and what trending, it makes it a lot easier to make videos on things! Hope this helps

I get my Ideas mainly from watching other videos. The type of content I produce is very reflective of the type of content I watch.

I love to just jot down ideas in my notebook while I am in class, or when I am playing games with friends I often think about if the game brings out my personality and if it is worth recording.

I usually get my video ideas from either life time experiences, funny things I've heard from my friends/family, or from other videos and I try to twist them into my version. If I can think of a nice ending for the video, I'll hurry up and write up a script for it.

I usually have my iPhone like 90% of the time so whenever an idea comes to mind i usually write in my notes and refer back to it.

It's like the opposite for me. It's coming up with a video idea that's the hard part. But once I have that idea, the script writing comes to me quickly lol

For me Most of my ideas come from when i am sleeping and when im watching other vids. I Write them up in a word document and when i need ideas i just look through it and pick out the ones i need/want.

A lot of my inspiration comes from my school science classes. Once I finish learning a topic and I'm comfortable with it I make a video about it. It kills two birds with one stone really since if I want to make a video I don't have to do as much research as I have already learnt it at school!

This applies to just about any subject you take at school, whether it's history, textiles, art, etc. But one bit of advice is don't learn the bare minimum and quote the teacher/textbook in your videos. Actually go a step further and make sure you understand it to a point where you can explain it using your own words. Trust me, this pays off and the chances are you'll end up remembering whatever you learnt for life... especially useful if you do this before an exam!!!

This is the most difficult part of the process for my brother and I. We usually sit down with a pen and paper and list ideas down. Then we brainstorm together and decide what we want to create next. We follow no particular theme and it's really just fun for us to turn our ideas into something sharable. There are other times when ideas just come to us randomly and we bring them up during the brainstorm session.

I normally look at idea from other Youtubers videos and input the idea in my notepad on my iPhone. As a tech reviewer the list can get pretty long.
