How do you come up with your video ideas?

For me is really hard to come up with ideas, sometimes.
But I´ve noticed that most of my best ideas, not necessarily for videos, come when I`m really bored with nothing to do but walk on a straight line back and ford and talking with myself.
When my inner me says something I consider a good idea I try to write it down in anything, just to no forget it, then i`ll write it in a notebook.

Whenever I get a random idea in my head I just write it down whether I think it's good or not at the time, one day I could use it if im stuck for videos.

My method I think works pretty well. I set everything up in this format:

1. CONCEPT
2. IDEA
3. PREMISE
4. OUTLINE
5. WRITE.

A concept can be anything at all, from a tree to a bus to a wild dog or anything you can see or come up with and since I stay in Horror, I only use things I can turn into something terrifying .

An idea is taking the concept and putting it into a logline form, about two lines that explain the base component of the story.

A premise is a more detailed explanation of the idea that is basically a paragraph that will help you devise the outline.

An outline is a list of scenes or parts of your story or script that will place everything in order for you and will help you follow the flow it brings.

Finally, WRITE. Just take the outline and start writing your story, your script, the way you want it to be. Don't worry about how it's going to do with the audience or how it's going to win over an agent or studio. Just write and once you're done and happy, revise the material and then worry about how the audience, studio or agent will perceive it.

My content varies, so I either do only the necessary amount of ideas to the very product or not so. Besides, sometimes you can make up your own script as you go along with the video without writing down what you wanted to say. Not sure if that requires a mass amount of needing to jumpcut but... :p

Sometimes I just think about video ideas, and if I have one I think is good I'll sometimes jot it down somewhere. I don't have a great system- basically just ponder whenever and maybe it'll be good lol

When I make videos, I sit down and go over everything that I like or feel passionate about. Then, mediate around which would be best to make and when.
Then - whether hundreds watch it or I just watch it - a video is born

I usually plan a lot ahead what I'm gonna do.
I have a schedule for my next 4 videos.
A lot of ideas come to my mind, I focus only on one at a time and when one pick my attention during work, I keep it somewhere.
I draw a lot of inspiration from talking to people. There's no specific place or kind of person, could be a stranger in a café, some friends in a night club or simply people leaving comments on the web.
I try to listen a lot and ideas flow by themselves.

CTReactions is like a small team of small YouTubers so we each suggest different videos to each other to react to. Either that or, in the future when we grow bigger and actually make our first video (haha), we'll have the viewers suggest videos.
(Just started today)

My videos are related alot to what is currently happening in my life so whenever something pops up of interest that I think others would benefit from hearing about I always write it down before I forget. I think that's a real big thing that you should always be writing down ideas that randomly fly at you!
