How do you come up with your video ideas?

Most of time I try to go with a certain type of channel without having to go through a huge amount of thinking. For example my channel is reviews based so that means coming up with ideas is not to hard. The real problem is trying to think what to review lol
 
The "how" part occasionally never comes first, it's much later during the process of editing footage and editing sound.
Though other times, especially when reviewing newer games, the script has to be done before a brand new game hits shelves so that when I get the pre-ordered copy, I'll have a video ready to go.
And that, my friends, is my trump card.

Though I don't complete a finished script in one go. Instead, I improvise, and where some may think it'd be easy to repeat the same word, actually it's very easy to swap a simple word with a complex one.

Therefore = Ergo.

Though if you're looking to become popular within seconds, news flash, always prepare for the worst. Unless you're lucky, your videos probably wont get much views within the first day or week. My Snatcher Review has only 66 since November 15 which is alright. Though, always aim for the stars as for that, my friends, brings great happiness.

There is one channel that inspired me to make my gaming videos the way I do today. Of course because I do gaming videos, mine are more of improv. and on the spot. No skits, no planning, just play and hope for the best and the funniest to come out. I feel this is what makes the best of my channel and most others I enjoy. Improvising and random events always makes it more funny to me.
Of course since I was inspired, I sometimes edit based off of what I remember I really enjoyed with my own twists.

I personally find it harder for myself to work around a planned idea. I get stressed and worry I will mess up or not execute the way things were originally planned, etc. I am careless and stress free when improvising :pompus:

For me Most of my ideas come from when i am sleeping and when im watching other vids. I Write them up in a word document and when i need ideas i just look through it and pick out the ones i need/want.

Well most ideas comes from when I'm talking to my Friends and suddenly I got an awesome idea. Or When I am in the bathroom... And sometimes traveling to somewhere. I get it mostly whenever I have nothing to do.. My mind keeps popping up ideas.
 
My biggest struggle is thinking of good, unique and fun video ideas. I don't want to copy other peoples ideas so I am always trying to think of something to do.

If I could figure out more fun ideas, I'd post more often, but always find it so hard to think of that GOOD video idea!

Inspiration comes from watching other videos and gathering information... I can tell you that it is one of the best things you can do...
But also coming up with your own idea or even creating your own viral thing (video, hashatg) is even BETTER.. Just dont keep thinking and inventing, people are creative and everything that you imagine you can also do it..
