January and February are bad months, we see revenue down over 50% there. Generally for the rest of the year holidays (Easter, summer) are slower periods.
I know there have been some glitches with YT's adsense readings, but has anyone else noticed a significant dip in earnings for the past 30 days? (for me it's about a 15-20% decrease overall).
It might have something to do with Youtube Red. I am not 100% sure, but i was reading up on it and it seemed like it would affect overall earnings when it was put into place. But then again, i might be wrong.
Hey all, so this has been my first festive period youtubing.
I could not believe the spike in views and revenue over the Christmas period. My adsense earnings doubled as well as extra views and sub's.
Then the beginning of January hit, my earnings quartered even though my views didn't drop that much.
I was expecting a slight drop in earnings as I knew advertisers would not want to be spending as much after the festive period but I wasn't expecting this much.
My question is how long does this slump generally last for ?
I'm no expert but I would assume it would last for the whole of January, as people recover from the Christmas extravaganza, and then maybe until Valentine's Day.
