CPM did flop in January for me as well, although not as drastically as I expected. But YouTube Red has been really really great so far. It brought in 25.7% of total revenue for January, up from 14.3% in December and it shows no signs of decrease! So at the end of the day, CPM dropping or not doesn't matter anymore to channels with longer videos. RIP animators and other creators of short, but quality content though. :/

May I ask your average audience retention?
It's freaking b******t man.
I can only dream. But alas i'm starting to think i should make videos like tutorials on animation and whatnot to have content filler.Sure, for January it was 16 minutes and 15 seconds (29% average percentage viewed).
There's no doubt they'll figure something out. It may be bad right now, but if they continue to build on this.... hopefully things will be better for others too!
My rpm numbers are now actually better than they were in November and December, which makes absolutely no sense at all. I've gone back and looked at prior years and saw nothing resembling that. Of course, this was the worst December I've had in 5 years with regard to RPM.I'm seeing a significant improvement in February.........
