How do you come up with your video ideas?

So recently I switched my content from gaming to vlogs and coming up with ideas for vlogs is a lot harder than for games.
Honestly, I just wait for something interesting to happen in my life and then vlog about it and hope for the best.
This is probably not the best way to get content lol.
 
So with my commentary videos, I generally just do videos on what interests me as far as what I like to talk about or what I think should be addressed on the internet/youtube! I love dissecting articles on stuff as is, but making videos on it is ten times more fun because I get to add more of myself into it than just being very professional and boring; I essentially get to be myself while being critical and I love that! So thats basically why I just stick to doing videos on what interests me. Also, I started a rage asmr parody series and that just came to my head because I think ASMR is cool but like I wanted to give it a gaming twist that wasn't all happy go lucky like most ASMR videos.
 
I get the majority of my video ideas while I'm at work. Sometimes, I'm inspired by other YouTubers' content.
Most of the time it's just what type of video I'm wanting to film. Beauty, paranormal, tag, etc.
 
Sometimes I come up with ideas. Often, I steal them from other artists, speakers, entrepreneurs, and give it my own twist!
 
Gaming is wee bit easier, in my opinion.

I record CSGO so whenever new update is out, i record CSGO Updates Video (Serie on my Channel)
I got schedule every other day upload different video (Monday: Competetive) (Wednesday: Overwatch)
(Friday: Competetive) and keeps going, every two days Comp, Overwarch. But if something comes between it like an update, i will skip one video and go and record update video.

Sometimes maybe skip it and do gambling skins video, or top skins under 1$ for example. (Got those videos recorded, for another couple of weeks, just uploading every 2 days)

For me Most of my ideas come from when i am sleeping and when im watching other vids. I Write them up in a word document and when i need ideas i just look through it and pick out the ones i need/want.

Same! Inspiration to me comes so randomly, the "notes" app on my iPhone is my most used app tbh :giggle:
 
It depends really; on a week by week basis I usually just refer to 3 or 4 bags full of cheapo DVD's I've sourced over the last few months from Charity shops. Though for themed months the ideas normally just come to me when im driving around. I try and space out themed months though so as not to alienate my audiences though my halloween specials seemed to go down rather well :)
 
Ideas come to me all the time. Usually when I'm in class or at work. I just write them down on in my notes, and brainstorm later on in Microsoft Word.
