How do you come up with your video ideas?

I have a huge dry-Erase board.

I start with a small/broad topic. For ex: "Uber"

Then under the topic I list a bunch of bullets with what I think is funny or what route I want to take in this video. If its a sketch I want to do I have another section where I write down characters, Locations. I do this with tons of idea, and they all can fit on my board. After I'm finished with an idea and the video is on Youtube. I usually erase it.

My GF was trolling on my board so I don't have too many ideas on here haha.

I create music so my ideas come by listining to good music getting the vibe.
For example if I want to do a hip hop beat I hear something from that corner. Same with other gernes

My ideas usually comes to mind usind mindmups ^^

First of all, I notes ideas on my notes and then, put all them together in a paper, so I try to link some of these or pick up some old ideas and creates links ^^

I get them at night when I'm supposed to sleep, sometimes while driving. most of the time i just see a picture or have some sort of idea or inspiration on my mind and try to develop that into a full video concept. I do a lot of random things too. Anything that makes me happy

Planned ones usually pop up randomly and then I'll write a note down so I can shoot it later, a lot of my videos are just random point and shoot videos. One of my most viewed dog videos was me pulling my phone out to catch something that was happening right in front of me. My other dog video that will pass it very soon was a planned one. I actually had two angles of my latest video, but I didn't have a setting correct on my new GoPro so I used the older camera's footage. Looks like it worked out, it has gotten over 100k views this past week!

sense I am mostly a Vogger I normally will think of something to talk about. mostly just turn camera on and talk. I look at other channels to get ideas also have a note pad by me to write stuff down. also i keep a journal to write day by day and my circle of friends help to with ideas and liquor lots and lots of liquor :)

My ideas usually come from questions people ask me about writing or books. At the same time I keep a list of one-liner type jokes. When it's time to make a video I try to pair an idea with a joke. Combining those usually gives me fuel enough for a full video.

Also, I use Trello to manage and schedule my videos. I love Trello! Anyone else use it?

That is awesome! I jot down alot of ideas for humor on the app notes on either my ipad or iphone (they sync!)

Presently I'm using puppets to deliver humor and I've thought about a "stand up" like segment where I film myself telling a funny bit on green screen and then impose it on a background that will look like a comedy club, but obviously not.

I really like the idea of incorporating humor within the meat of my video.

Mainly Ive been writing a bunch of short films and animations to work on in the summer. They come to me when I'm A. Crying in the shower or B. Sitting in math class

I keep a diary near my be so that if I come up with a great idea while I'm sleeping I can right it down as soon as I wake up before I completely forget about it. Also I find that when I sit down and try to think of ideas nothing really good ever comes up but when I'm just chilling out a good idea will randomly pop into my head
