I do Youtube because i wanted to show off my 'skills' to my colleague's. My friends and colleague's with whom i play games always commented me with my gameplay.
Now i made a few video's, and the first few where very basic. Just a with paint made intro, some text welcoming viewers and the gameplay.
The more i start too experiment, the more i start to like editing, choosing the right music and even putting commentary to my video's. I havent made much commentaries yet, but this will change! the first one was scripted haha.. I recorded little peaces of a story and put it on the right place in the timeline on the video. The last one i recorded yesterday was a lot more relaxed. Not afraid to make mistakes, (i'm from holland and i can speak english but some words are difficult for me to pronounce), and i start to have more fun making the commentaries.
What really motivates me, is the reactions i get at work! I post my movies on Facebook, and some of my colleague's are my FB friends. And sometimes im at a break and a colleague comes to me and start talking about my video. At that moment im like... Wow, they do watch my video's. They do enjoy it! Also a lot of fellow youtubers give me good feedback and thats cool as well! Because im a perfectionist i want my video's to be perfect! And i know there are some things i can improve. But thats oke!
and i will improve!
So yeah.. Thats why i joined Youtube
