Worst type of Videos/Channels

Prank channels, mostly because a lot of them are set ups and fake, or a lot of them are about harassing women randomly in public, which isn't a prank. it's obnoxious.

yeah, never even knew why they considered it a prank. and then they use really click - baity thumbnails to maximize views... its just kind of a sh**storm with those there "prank" channels.

Vlogs

RomanAtwood's videos are fun to watch, but generally the only thing I like about vlogs are food

I heard PrankInvasions was punished by having his videos age restricted, which made him private/delete his videos.

I actually realized that i do watch some vlogs, and those are boogie2988s, i don't know why, but they're pretty entertaining to me, but yeah, thats like the only vlog i can watch.

Dislike Reaction channels where they play the entire video in a corner and just film themselves looking at it.

I don't even think that's covered by fair use, because you are literally using their video 1:1 without actually doing any critiquing.

Glad someone else mentioned gaming. For a while there I did watch Yogscast but generally I'm shocked at the popularity of gaming videos in general.
It seems that every almost new youtuber now wants to be a let's player.

Like anything, personality gets you far - so there are some likeable gamers on youtube but i'm just stunned by it's overall success. At the end of the day, some categories are so different that I don't really see myself as competing against them, they just bring more people to the platform. Let's hope there'll be some spillover into other genres.

its reactin channels..i dont get why someone should get money for just filming himself when doing normal stuff. The next level of this would be recording yourself while sleeping videos.
