I think It has to be one of the hardest part. I mean the journey from 0-100 was harder than 100-200 for me. People just tend to not want to subscribe to you If you are at like 20 subs

I got to 100 subs in about 3 1/2 weeks, ive been youtubing now for 2 months and im at 344 but over the past week ive gained 1 sub and lost 12. It all depends on your audience, how well you promote yourself and how good your content is.

Im at a point now where im really struggling to get subscribers but patience is always the key my friend. Work hard, promote and make sure to interact with other users and be friendly.

Don't let your life revolve around youtube just yet also enjoy other things in your social time ive spoke to so many people who are glued to the PC from video number 1 they upload. Wish you all the luck in the world my friend and have fun :)!

Getting your first 100 subs can be difficult, but it really depends on how you start out. If you're a lone wolf then it will indeed be difficult. Especially considering how many YouTubers there are today. However, if you collaborate with others then you will grow much faster. Quality and consistency are also a factor into how fast you grow. If the few people who come across your channel don't like what they see then you won't be gaining too many subscribers. To be honest, it was difficult to get my first 100 subscribers because I was on my own, but my content wasn't of the highest quality either so it was technically my fault. You just have to build up your channel from the ground up, but you also must continue to give it your all. Hard work and dedication pay off in the end. Depending on how much you put into both of these will determine how fast you will reach 100 subs.

Yeap I agree with you....it's need a lot of hardwork & patient :)

I wouldn't say it's hard if you know how to get the proper exposure. The only way it will be hard is if you expect the subscribers to just all of a sudden come to you. These days, there are so many ways to share your content that getting 100 subscribers can happen in a matter of hours. Problem is, many people (yes, including people here) are not willing to put the effort in promoting and marketing their content. That's no one's fault but their own.

The most difficult part of YouTube is converting views to subscribers. Yes, as mentioned, getting exposure can be easy, but it wouldn't matter one lick if people don't care for your content in the first place. Never fall into the trap of thinking your content is already "good" and "deserves" more subscribers. A lot of times I see people that think they have great content when in fact they have very mediocre and boring content. Always improve your videos and find out what people are interested in. If you don't, then yes, the first 100 subscribers will be a long journey.

I really appreciate what you say.....I agree with you :)

The beginning of your YouTube career is of course the hardest part. It's no set number of subscribers, it's just that initial period of time where you're figuring out how everything works. The first videos you make might have a whole bunch of things wrong with them. Your initial equipment and editing software might be lacking. You might be clueless on how to rank videos in search or attract new views.

Those first videos and the first months are just a learning experience, and so can be quite difficult since you really have no feedback to tell you that someday your channel is going to take off. There comes a point where things start to click and you start to see what strategies work and attract new views/subscribers, and from that point you're able to grow and things get much less stressful - but in the beginning, expect a lot of trial and error.

Nice....thanks for you opinion mate :)[DOUBLEPOST=1475729079,1475728946][/DOUBLEPOST]

I find it
Hello best friend,

I heard that getting your first 100 subscriber on YouTube is the hardest part to get.So do you agree with this topic??If you than why??.....let me know your opinion about this topic via comment section (Join the poll)

Thanks a lot :)
I find it veeeeeeery hard. I have 17 subs

I don't know why Its hard to push past that, but it may likely be because im another gaming channel? I'm trying to involve more improvised comedy to it though.
I need to record some more improv focused videos but what confuses me is I have barely above 20-30 views on each vid. Yet the people that do watch my videos tell me they like it and should keep going. I even have 1 person who looks forward to my fallout videos every weekend to the point now I'm making sure it's ready for him every friday. He loves the fact I do which is a good confidence boost. But the lack of views and subs do knock my confidance a lot sometimes.

I just try to keep in mind what everyone says and thats to just keep at it and don't give up. Eventually it will kick off. I have something good so just keep working with it and improving on it.

Many YouTubers could get 100 subscribers easily, if they had an engaged audience somewhere else. Heck, if I asked all my cousins to subscribe to me, that would be over 150 people right there (Mom is the youngest of 13). I think starting from scratch anywhere is difficult, but it's probably best that it is, because one of the most important things about YouTube is consistency. I see a lot of creators start off with a lot of enthusiasm, but after a couple of months of struggling, they deem YouTube "unfair" and rage-quit. It's good to have realistic expectations going in.

i don't think it would be hard to get the first 100 subs. I managed to get 38 subscribers without any videos. I don't even know why i have 38 subs or who my subs are because my channel is anonymous. my friends don't know about it and it's created with a fake name and i don't have any videos. lol

I do watch alot of youtube videos so i comment on youtube Alot and i think my subs are just people who liked my comments cos that's the only explanation i could think of.

People say getting the 1st 100 subscribers is hard because you're not only starting at 0 subscribers, but you're starting from no videos, no audience, etc. It has less to do with the # of subscribers but rather the way you market yourself in the beginning

That's great man....congrats....you know success is one thing that not equal for everybody....some might get success in 2-3 days & for some it take 2-3 months....so thing it depends :)

Getting to 100 is tough but its not like it gets any easier after that. If anything my sub rate has slowed slightly since I hit 100 so I just keep making videos, trying to get better, and promoting where I can. Thats all you can, there is soooo much out there.
