Compared to November/December, in January I had a drop of 50% in advertisment prices, February recovered to 75% of November/December but it's going down again the last few days. Since 2016 I have a lot of videos without an ad being displayed. Skippable preroll ads even never occur anymore. Youtube should really stop partnering every channel imho, too much supply for advertisers if you ask me.

No recovery here in February. I strongly suspect it is an Asia Pacific (Japan) related thing. It would be interesting to here from another Asian channel!?

No it's not. It's world wide. Indeed I see a little higher decrease in earnings from Asia and South America but overall this two months were my all time low (CPM/RPM) . If march is the same then something must had happened with the way ads are displayed on certain channels. In three years I haven't seen this !

I'm seeing much higher than average RPM on my popular videos (ones with the most daily views), but that is being offset by very low RPM on my less popular videos. Is anyone else seeing this trend?

My trend as of the past couple weeks feels like YT has been ****ing with me just for kicks, haha.

Basically my views oscillate with a variation of about 50% each day. But when I get higher views, my RPM for the day drops by a similar amount. When I get lower views, my RPM increases by a similar amount. So I've been earning practically the same amount each day despite the oscillating views.

As for average RPM, still well below a full $1, but at least not as horrid as $0.50 like it was in January.

2016 is turning up to be a very bad year for making videos on YT, at least for me. If this continues I'll have to view YT just as a hobby and turn to something else. Even if March is 30% higher than January it's still 0.40$ RPM. I haven't seen this EVER on YT. Before this my lowest month was 0.50$ and that was just once. I'm starting to loose faith that everything will go back to normal. My usual RPM oscillated between 0.80$ and 1.20$. What is happening now doesn't make any sense, unless they change something and "forgot" to tell us.

You can work it out manually:

Total net earnings you were actually paid (for a given period) / total views (for the same given period) x 1000

Pretty sure just AdSense shows RPM. My RPM past 2 weeks has been around $0.75.
this month my page RPM has been £0.37p ($0.54)
and Impression RPM has been £0.91p ($1.32)

it seems to go up slightly when views go up, and go down when it drops.[DOUBLEPOST=1458309514,1458309172][/DOUBLEPOST]
