Do you hide the fact you have a youtube channel from friends?

I love creating videos (did it a while for others) and now that I started creating content for my own channel I couldn't hold back and told my friends! I mean, they are your friends so they should support you haha!

Well a couple of months ago at college (UK) I was in class when I turned around and saw one of my classmates watching my video....on a loud volume....with 36 people in the class.....so yeah I think they know XD

To be honest... I actually shared my channel with all my friends / family and they all support me which is great! :')
But on school I don't really say to people that I'm a YouTuber... But it doesn't matter because after a few weeks they know it already haha

When I first started out I didn't tell many of my friends, however more recently I have been telling most of my friends because I am proud of my content now and I have no issue with them seeing it! I don't talk about it with friends who I know aren't interested in gaming, but other than that I am very open about my channel!

No hiding here! Kind of defeats the purpose of having a channel if you're trying to hide it from people. ;D I want everybody to watch and laugh and have a good time!

Nope. I tell my friends I have a channel and see what thier response is. Then I find out that they want to do what I do. XD

Yeah this one I am hiding from friends until it gets to about 10000 subscribers. A few know, but not everyone.

I'm not actively hiding it, but I'm not actively telling anyone either. I'm quite happy with having my own personal corner of the internet, for how long that may last. If someone ask me if I have a channel or if I'm active on youtube I just straight up tell them. My sister was talking about how she was thinking about putting her music online, possibly on youtube, but she was feeling a bit awkward about it. She also mentioned she doesn't want to untill she has some nicer equipment. So I told her and offered to borrow her our camera.
