I was quite embarrassed with my VLOG channel because some people can't get what I am doing even my relatives, so I had to start the gaming channel and now I am proud to share my videos with relatives because I never show my face in the gaming videos, much more comfortable

I'm not embarrassed at all and will glady mention my channel if it comes up in conversation. Why would I be embarrassed about doing something I love?
Although being present when someone else is watching my videos is another matter entirely...

Oddly enough, I never minded when my friends knew about it (Just lead to a lot of banter ^^), never minded when my parents knew about it (Not like they watch the vids mind you), but when my mum showed my channel to her work friend that striked a chord in me for some reason xD

Idk, just feels weird, cause it's not a friend that I know and can throw down my walls with, rather, it's someone who I don't know, but at the same time isn't a complete stranger that I couldn't give two s's about their opinion on the channel.

Iv never had an issue with telling my friends that I do YouTube but iv always had an issue with my mum and dad because they still feel and believe that YouTube is a waste of time and feel like I shouldn't be putting as much into it as I have and focus more on getting a stabke job etc. Which to certain degree is true but my love for YouTube is too strong.

I've not told anyone I know that I'm doing it. Due to my profession, a gaming channel on YouTube is something I'd rather keep to myself. Not embarrassed; just rather keep it as a purely private hobby. Never show my face on my videos for that reason.

I'm not embarrassed. I'm not in my videos so that makes it easy for me. However no one cares and I can't talk about it because it's just boring to them.
