I'm a playwright (have been writing plays for about 20 years) and while I still absolutely love it, I have been really enjoying the ability to write, perform, and upload new ideas right away. While the content I have been uploading is very, very different than the theater work I do, I'm hoping to merge together the two a lot more, especially as my technical skills with video editing, sound, lighting, etc. improve.

I also love the community aspect of it. I have met a ton of great people just because of shared interests I've posted on my channel, from my fellow guys who are growing long hair to people who like to cook or like to see funny, silly things online. It's also increased my confidence in front of a camera, and by extension, in front of people.

Hi!

Very good topic you have going over here man. Well, there are many reasons to answer this.
When I was about 14 (I'm 18 atm), I had a big dream that one day I will be like one of those big YT stars, since monday I haven't done anything to fill my dream. Now started and my biggest wish is to deliver my knowledge and research to other people, to make them know what is going on in this world. I like when people are happy, that is why I'm making these videos to let them know something they didin't know and they can be happy about it. It's kind of hard to explain.
Trying to work myself up there now and then we'll see if my dream comes true. I like to entertain, that is all I do :)
Thank u.

I started YouTube because it's something I've always wanted to do; share my thoughts and views whilst I'm doing something I love. I haven't been making videos long enough for there to be a magical change to how I live my life as I only have 15 subscribers on my channel. I enjoy editing videos so that they are the best of my ability and once I start recording I don't want to stop!

Hmm good question :rolleyesphones: well one thing why I youtube is that I like making thumbnails edit video's in SV13(that sony vegas pro 13 :grinphones:) and just play games! and the other thing is that I love feeling wen I upload video and some one like's it!

Talking to a camera was something I've never done and I wanted to try. I haven't done a lot in the 5 years or so that I've had my channel but it's been fun. I don't see myself as making it big on YouTube. I really need to learn how to edit too.

Let me be completely honest and up front i do this because i want to challenge myself. The Youtube life is a hard one to achieve. As many of us know there are not many youtubers out there that have made it to one million subscribers but the ones that did have worked truly hard and stayed dedicated to their goals. I want to be like one of them i call them Youtube Heroes i look up to all of those that made it. I honestly want to become something that someones talks about one day either its because they like me or made them smile or just the fact that they hate me but i want to reach out to so many people out there and i think with just a liitle bit of determination and consistency i can accomplish this hardened task. The journey is a long a tough one yea but it will also be a fun one.

I do this as more of an escape from my every day life than anything else. I didn't really think much of it back when Jeremy had the same dreams with his podcast Casual Mode and we first put those videos on Youtube, but as time moved on, and my job grew more and more problematic for me (especially with the ever increasing hours, the decreasing in pay, and the lack of respect for software engineers nowadays) I've turned to it as a sort of escape while I'm trying to figure out what to do with life. I still have time. I hope to make it big on Youtube one day. If not, I think there'll be something else I can look to for backup until then.

I do YouTube because it makes me feel productive. I do YouTube because I want to inform others about technological products. I do YouTube because I want people to know what things are.

I love doing YouTube because I am able to create my OWN content for anyone to see!

I do Youtube now because i feel like there isnt a job out there that allows me to have the flexibility i can on here! So making my own work with no limits is better for me!

There's quite a few reasons to why I'm youtubing!

1. The very first reason is that I promised myself at New Years Eve 2014 that I by the end 2015 would've uploaded at least 2 videos! Now I'm here almost one year later and have total upload count of almost 150 videos! You could safely say that I kept my promise!

2. I wanted to change the way I percieve myself! I figured that if I record my voice and face I'll create another persona that can help me build a new self-image! If I look at myself from another perspective I might discover my pros and cons and appreciate me for who I am!

3. I want my channel to be a platform for aspiring musicians/movie directors/game developers! By making music cover, analyze movies and doing Let's Plays I promote the creators and their stuff! My taste in games, music and movies is pretty odd and I'm drawn to wierd, unusual and original stuff! The problem with this stuff is that many people who might like it will miss out on it since it's so underground and sometimes hard to find! So hopefully my channel can help them to get their stuff out!

4. I like having things organized and setting up certain goals I must achieve during the day! If I don't do this it feels like I'm doing nothing with my life and that I never achieve anything!
