I started youtube with a friend of mine because, i wanted to do youtube for a while. But i never took the step because i was kinda afraid that people might not like my voice or my content. But my friend was like: ''Nah man. We are just gonna have fun and laugh and make jokes. Who cares what people think about how you sound? Its all about the fun right?'' And so we started our little channel together. And i never regretted it. Because i have a blast doing it. I met a lot of cool people on the way, and like my friend said. Its fun!

YouTube has completely changed the way content is created / consumed. Anyone with a video camera and some time on their hands can now be seen by thousands, even millions of viewers. If that isn't the ultimate vetting of content, I don't know what is!

I think we really just want to be a part of it and support it. And, let's be honest, making youtube videos / vlogs is just fun :)

I have problems sometimes making videos because my dad don't support my gaming videos. He hates gaming. Because he thought the games provoked me to suicide. I was 14 years old and I suffered depression and anger issues. I couldn't take anymore all of that crap anymore so I tried to jump of my school building. I'm 16 now and i'm doing fine. Thank goodness. As I was saying my dad always think the games are bad. He said "the games are like drug, is going to ruined you!!!". But I didn't took it as a drug. I took it as a entertainment because i'm a teenager. But he'll never understand. So started make an YouTube account and start making videos.

Thanks for reading :)

I do youtube for about the same reason.

First i did videos years ago with my cousins, just a bunch of silly stuff. Like us jumping on trampolines or doing skits. I enjoyed learning how to upload and such on to youtube that I then took up Simming (movie making using sims 2).

I loved making those videos so much. I learned to edit and how to use sound effects and make intros and outros, but sadly the sims 2 side of youtube died off when sims 3 came around and when gaming channels became much more popular. After that I pretty much just gave up and never found anyother reason to upload until the past few years.

You see I am also a very shy person and having my face and voice on camera makes me want to vomit. But within the past two years I learned that I have severe Social Anxiety. I then got a therapist and some meds to help with the pain. I told my therapist about missing youtube. I still enjoyed youtube like watching it but missed producing videos. He told me it would be good for me to actually do them. He hoped that I could be open infront of the camera and make my confidence better. After his little pep talk I rejoined and I'm so much happier now!

I make beauty, art, and gaming videos. I'm still finding my footing and style, but I'm enjoying it so much! It has also changed my confidence like he said and even my confidence outside of videos. I used to hate the sound of my own voice so much that I even refused to talk, but now I can even talk to strangers with out shutting down. I really hope youtube helped you out to in a similar way! :)

I do youtube because I want to make a difference and I want to make people happy with my videos I like to spread love and joy to others! Plus I do it because I love to film and always have enjoyed filming things and this is kinda like my escape from the real world. I love going on there and seeing what others bring to the community and meeting new people who I can call my friends its just a beautiful website im so glad it exists!

I am by nature a creator, and if I'm not creating I'm not fulfilled. I am blessed to work in an industry where I'm able to create daily, but most of my work is never seen by the public, so I turn to YouTube. I love to create, set goals and push the limits of what I'm able to do, that's why in 2016 I started daily vlogging. Vlogging forces me to create something daily, to film at the highest possible quality level, while working super fast and delivering a story, a piece of entertainment worth watching, everyday! It's awesome because I get to experiment with different techniques, camera positions and story telling devices.

YouTube is a great platform for posting anything and everything, getting community feedback (supposing it's not trolling) then allowing a filmmaker to grow from that feedback. It's like going to an open-mic-night, when I used to perform stand-up comedy (yes I used to perform stand-up comedy). You're able to try things, post them, get feedback, change the process and try something new. Rinse and repeat. It's awesome! I love the YouTube community and am glad to be apart of it!

I do YouTube because I enjoy gaming and sharing games with others. I also like making sure quality Free to Play games are reviewed for people thinking about getting into gaming but not sure if they would enjoy a certain game. Overall, my channel is based on what I like to do and showing options to others.
