YouTube is Removing Videos - Are You Affected?

Wow that was a scary wake up seeing all black signs on each video, thought we were deleted for a few minutes. We also had all demonetized on both channels, no warning, no email and no strikes.
My first feeling is that this is not a glitch but a deliberate act from the legal department? All emails we got so far are that you got a video removed and that they will not give you a strike as it could be that we didn't intend to violate the guidelines. With enabling your monetization manually again, it could provide them legal confirmation that you agreed on the new guidelines and therefor you cannot create a law suit against them for the loss of adsense revenue? At least that's what I would guess this is, hope I'm wrong and it's not the next phase where they stop giving warnings and just give you strikes for each new video being removed.

What & where are all these emails everyone is getting from youtube? I have been through the 9th circle of Hell already with this gig and not a single email, message, notification or anything anywhere that I can see?[DOUBLEPOST=1511419476,1511419212][/DOUBLEPOST]Question for all - who thinks its a good idea NOT to upload any new videos at the moment?

It's a given that any new video will go for review. I for one DON'T want my video and channel to be looked at every day, as bad things can happen.
Would it be best to take a holiday for 1 week let the dust settle a bit, then start uploading again (assuming still around)?

Sent you two examples by email, I get emails for each removal and decision. They come to the email box you used when creating the channel.

On the uploading, I’m just continuing uploading, don’t want watch time to drop even further and keep things as active ss possible. But a week break should be fine I guess.

I got similar issue with random videos demonetized for no reason back in December 2015. I e-mailed support back then (had just passed the 15000 hours/3 months requirement) and they restored the videos in less than a day. But then it was really a bug, because the filter for showing non monetized videos was not working and the videos were listed as monetized, but there was no monetization icon.to them.

And another experience - I wanted a feature enabled and YouTube support confirmed that I will have it. Only after 20 e-mails more and 2-months of back and forth communication they enabled it because it had to be done from another department. At the end the partner manager apologised for the delay, but meanwhile I was working on my channel, so I had no reason to be angry.

As a rule of thumb while some bugs can be fixed by YouTube in less than a day, for other you may way for months and even then they won't be fixed. Yes, I had a bug not fixed for several months, so I had to fix it by myself. The bug was confirmed by YouTube, but technical department had to look at it, and probably they are too busy/lazy to look deeply into it, even if I had provided them lots of debug information.

Our compilation channel got disabled for momentization.. plus we have some videos manually deleted by youtube on our main and thomas channel... ugh.. what is going on ?

They are trying to save themselves from a whole nother adpocalypse, one that could potentially bring them to an end, and you are caught in the crossfire. They will call this one Toypocalypse. Alot have channels have already been through this for most the year and survived. This one seems a lot more brutal though.

Yea they are tearing up my channel as we speak.. Happy Thanksgiving to me!
