YouTube is Removing Videos - Are You Affected?

Quite a lot of them removed by youtube, I decided to delete most of the rest of them were I could be in trouble. I got a Community Guidelines strike this evening on Kids Corner and with all the channels dropping like flies I decided to just remove most of what people could complain about myself and keep the channels alive. Seems they went for the top first, if they move top down in this mopup activity it would/will be my turn soon too. Hopefully they will now skip me.

Good luck, this is a sensible thing to do. Fingers crossed they won't do it. In my view your content is of very good quality and not over the top at all.

Thanks, but I lost all my trust in youtube so not counting on it they will spare me. I emailed my YT manager last week what is going on when the first videos started to get removed, till today still no response... I contacted a few large channels and nobody knew what is going on, none of the managers respond...

I was thinking (a rare occurence) for all those clearing their unwelcome videos, it might be a good idea to clear any playlists with bad words and videos in them.

3 days after this Purgepocalypse happened, we're still in . We've cancelled the Nerf skits. I'm still monitoring the activity of Twin Toys. I think they were hit with some red view counts in Social Blade but nothing major.[DOUBLEPOST=1511331102,1511330936][/DOUBLEPOST]

I just watch one of Casey Nestat's video. He's got valid point. He wants Youtube to succeed but he also wants the creators to succeed, not lose trust in it.[DOUBLEPOST=1511331246][/DOUBLEPOST]

Can you name them? Maybe a list of channel that were axed so we can "align" our channels away from what they did and towards the straight line YT guidelines.

Don't delete the videos, just make them private until you know further. Do you know that if a video is private only the name of it can be seen but not the rest, even from YouTube staff? Don't ask how I know!
But if you delete a video - it's gone, even YouTube staff can't restore it (they can restore deleted channel, but not deleted video). Also if the title is obviously wrong, asking for deletion, change it and make the video private, until further explanation comes of what's happening right now.
