What's Been Your Biggest Difficulty Youtubing So Far?

I'm also having problems with promotion. Over time I've gotten better and my views have increased somewhat, but I still feel its not enough and its sometimes inconsistent. Of course planning, filming, editing, trying to balance what you want to do vs. what people want to see, ect are all hard, but I've found promotion seems to be one of the most important factors.

Just trying to keep everything on a schedule and do videos on time. I have gotten better but there is room for improvement.

Consistency.
Consistency of quality, and consistency of weekly uploads.

My channel depends upon other people's cooperation and they don't always give me what I want, when I want it (I know...outrageous eh?). I recently uploaded a video that was not of a high enough quality because I did not want to wait another day or two for the editor to improve it, and my latest video was published two days late because I DID wait. I really wish I had the time and editing skills to do it all myself.

Exposure. The single biggest challenge for me, the one that I find the most time consuming and at times frustrating is exposure, how to network, how to promote yourself, how to be seen and given at least one chance. Not unexpected of course, my genre is completely flooded on Youtube.

The hardest part of YouTube is probably getting people to watch my videos. Sharing my videos on Facebook, Twitter and Discord only gets me so far. Also, another hardship with YouTube is being consistent. I try to post twice a week, once on Monday and once on Friday, but sometimes I find myself procrastinating and scrambling to get a video out. Coming up with fresh and brand new ideas and diversifying content can also be hard at times too.
