What's Been Your Biggest Difficulty Youtubing So Far?

I think promoting is a big issue for me... I feel like I'm pestering if I post on YouTube videos so I NEVER do, I've posted some videos on Reddit and other places.

Also finding the actual ideas and motivation for videos, for real, I'm so... braindead hahah
 
Frequent constant output. With family and job its not easy to keep a schedule.

My new additional struggle after YouTube being silent if they will ever fix their system's bugs is that now I have to upload all my videos twice, so people who can't figure how to play the 3D videos will have the option to watch them in inferior 2D versions. While not being twice the work, it's still additional struggle that will slow down my future creations.
 
Frustrating to spend hours promoting in Twitter and facebook to get nothing back.
Surprised to find out i'm microphone and camera-shy (i make a living in RL giving talks and going to art shows!).
I have tons of ideas for videos but I don't want to do the same others did...so I get stuck thinking how to present it.
So i'm having to change tons of things lol
 
My biggest trouble YouTubing is that I'm trying to get views on my videos when I upload them but sometimes i don't get like any views like 20 View at tops
 
Storage. Got too much damn stuff, it's overflowing into the kitchen and living room from the garage. Hard to manage the video pipeline and still have room to film and live. A close second is the constant grind - I heard a quote on Shark Tank the other day "entrepreneurship is giving up a 40 hour week to work an 80 hour week". Spot on.

Getting noticed, definitely. I use social media very frequently but ultimately you can't force anyone to watch your content. It's all a case of hoping they will!

This, too! I work as a photographer/editor outside of YouTube and that can take up a lot of my time. And then when I'm done with that all I wanna do is be as far away from my computer screen as possible!
 
The hardest thing is promoting content, I share on twitter and facebook using hastags and key words but that only gets you so far, and it seems that every forum bans you if you links to your videos or channel. So promotion is really hard!
